Lexus Truck 2024: Rumors and Concept . The segment of pickup is in a big expansion these days and it’s only a matter of time when we will start to see such vehicles that come from premium brands. Cadillac did such thing years ago with the EXT, while Mercedes-Benz did this in Europe with the X-Class. These two models didn’t manage to make a success but that doesn’t mean other premium manufacturers won’t try with their own premium pickup truck. Of course, Toyota’s luxury division is one of the first brands that come to mind, so it’s no wonder that many reports suggest Lexus Truck 2024 for the next year.
At this point, this is pure speculation. We can only guess how the new model is going to look like. Don’t take the following paragraphs too seriously.
Powertrain
No matter the base layout, one thing seems certain. Of course, we are talking about electrification, as we have no doubt that the new Lexus Truck 2024 would feature a hybrid powertrain. Of course, the first one that comes to mind is a new system that Toyota develops for the next-generation Tundra. It will be a V6 based system, with impressive output, but with high mpg ratings. The max output will go around 450 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque, according to the latest reports. On the other side, we could see something less potent, if the Lexus Truck 2024 is about to be smaller and based on Tacoma.
Lexus Truck 2024 Design
A great thing for Lexus is that Toyota has a huge history of making impressive BoF vehicles, including excellent pickup trucks. The first thing that comes to mind is that the upcoming model would be based on some of the existing models. If we consider that the next-generation Tundra is finally about to arrive in the next year, it makes perfect sense to see it’s Lexus iteration, especially if we consider that the new Tundra is about to come with some pretty advanced design solutions, including a mightful hybrid powertrain.

One of the potential issues would be the price. There is no doubt it would be extremely high, so it may not be interesting for most truck drivers. We might see something smaller. Of course, this brings us to the North American most popular mid-size pickup truck, Tacoma. In this case, we would have to wait for a couple of more years, considering that the current generation is still fresh for a complete overhaul.
The LX-Based Lexus Truck 2024? Why Not?
One of the possibilities is the see Lexus Truck 2024 based on the flagship SUV. The luxury BoF SUV is about to come completely redesigned for the next year. A simple way to make a pickup from it would be to do the same thing GM did with Cadillac Escalade EXT. On the other side, the Lexus Truck 2024 would benefit in many ways, in this case, starting from a super-luxurious cabin and other premium features.
Speaking of the cabin, it would be luxurious in any way. This manufacturer is well known for the excellent built quality of its interiors, so we expect nothing less from the possible Lexus Truck 2024. This would include not just hi-end materials, but also plenty of latest tech goodies.
When will Lexus Truck 2024 arrive?
